THE SKY IS THE LIMIT when the subject is ASTRO-LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY! Join us as night sky expert, Hal Mitzenmacher, will introduce the basics of how to photograph the Milky Way. He will cover the following:

• Planning your Milky Way shoot
• Required and optional equipment
• Compositional basics
• Focusing in the dark
• Determining proper exposure settings
• Basic post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop

Hal has spoken to SWMCC on multiple occasions over the years as well as conducted hands-on workshops on the subject of Milky Way imaging, star trails and light painting both here in the Ozarks area and nationwide.

This September, SWMCC will sponsor a Milky Way workshop for club members which will be led by Mitzenbacher. Check out the wealth of information on his website. Everyone is welcome to attend our meeting on April 25th!
